On Current Events.

Ok, so the Ospital ng Makati's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit was forced to close due to 25 neonatal deaths in just one morning. Apparently, 25 neonates (babies) died due to blood infection or sepsis.

Mr. Eric Tayag of Department of Health's National Epidemiology Center said that infections could occur if the mother had poor immunity to diseases or did not undergo prenatal checkups. He also added that neonatal sepsis could also be caused by unsanitary hospital conditions.
